FAFS officers can be linked to one or more locations. When a FAFS person is working in multiple locations, they can be called at each location, depending on the settings and configuration within the Findwhere environment.
If there is no coverage, the Findwhere system switches to SMS. This way, alerts can still be made.
A notification can be accepted or refused. The system then automatically switches to another available FAFS officer, so that emergency assistance does not come to a halt.
With an incident notification, the notification goes through silent and non-intrusive settings.
This ensures that no notification is missed.
Location is necessary to immediately alert the most relevant people in emergency situations. This allows the nearest FAFS officer to be called as soon as possible, and colleagues and coordinators know which emergency responders are on their way. Location is only shared within the Findwhere zone.
