The challenge: Speed and oversight during incidents
FAFS personnel in a short period of time. The diversity of situations, from fainting to acute medical
incidents, required instant communication and a team that could respond quickly.
Moreover, within a school there is an additional dimension at play: there are always students in the
neighborhood. They must be protected, but also must not panic. That
makes every second, and every form of communication, extra important.

Impact: an example where fast communication
really made a difference
One situation the school still clearly remembers:
A student suffered cardiac arrest during class. Thanks to the rapid alert
, several FAFS officers were on standby within seconds to begin CPR
. At the same time, the environment was kept safe for students and
emergency services immediately received the correct information.
