Act quickly with sensor information and connected devices with EMS IoT
The EMS IoT (Internet of Things) network connects all kinds of devices and sensors to the EMS Platform. Think emergency buttons, smoke detectors, presence detectors, CO2 detectors or window alarms. On our unique network, no wiring is required and devices run for years on long-lasting batteries.
Immediately take the right action
Thanks to the connection to all kinds of devices in your organization, you can quickly take action in the event of problems, emergencies or incidents. For instance, pressing an emergency button: this sets a pre-programmed scenario in motion, whereby the nearest FAFS personnel are immediately notified or, if desired in certain emergencies, emergency services are immediately alerted.
You can also use smart temperature and CO2 meters, for example, to take quick action if the temperature or CO2 concentration gets too high in a room. Ideal for building management in offices, factories, hospitals or town halls.
Data sharing between devices and systems
The EMS IoT network allows small amounts of data to be exchanged between devices and systems. In the EMS Platform, you can see the status of every device in your network at any time. For example; battery status, device name and location.
Emergency buttons
With the EMS IoT network, you can easily link emergency buttons to your system. Ideal in places where you need to have a fast response. It’s also suitable for offices. For example, an emergency call can be made immediately if an emergency occurs. An emergency button can be equipped with a silent alarm if desired.
Fire Alarm System
We also connect your fire alarm system to the IoT. This allows you to start evacuating faster, see immediately in the EMS Platform what is going on in which place, and immediately notify the nearest FAFS officers. The platform ensures that there are enough FAFS personnel on site for supervision, to evacuate and for first aid, as each emergency worker is set up in the system with their own skills.
Motion sensors, door detectors and window detectors
Motion sensors, door sensors and window sensors connect via the IoT network to the EMS Platform. This way, you will know immediately when a door or window is opened, or when there is movement in a particular room. We link these events to a scenario in the platform. For example, you can also place a sensor on a case with the Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This way, you know immediately when an AED is accessed somewhere, and can act quickly by sending a FAFS officer to that location.
Light sensors, motion sensors and infrared sensors
By connecting light sensors, motion sensors and infrared sensors to the EMS Platform, you know exactly when there is movement in each room. By using motion sensors, you can save on energy costs, due to devices such as cameras or lights only turning on when movement is detected. Naturally, motion sensors can also be used as intrusion detection.
